Army Cars & Jeeps

Cars are a hugely popular type of toy for boys and girls. It is possible to play many different games with such a  toy, it’s fun, versatile, and very exciting. Toy cars have always been popular - some of the oldest toys that have ever been found by archeologists were small vehicles with wheels (not cars, but close enough). Children love toys that can be moved around and vehicles make for great tools to develop motor and visuospatial skills.Children who play with car toys often develop a better ability to manipulate objects and also to understand how things are located in relation to each other, which can provide some help when they learn to drive actual cars and other vehicles.

Besides this, cars and army vehicles can add a lot to any collection of military vehicles.  Cars and  jeeps are a feature of any modern army, as they provide transportation for soldiers and supplies. Military vehicles have a unique design and special features, like armored parts. Toy military cars can serve as a great detail to add to a toy car collection or a collection of military vehicles and military toys in general.

Jeeps stand apart from general cars, thanks to their characteristics. Today, a  jeep is understood as a special car model that can handle different types of terrain. Jeeps come in many formats, including truck and pickup. However, this is a newer use of the word. Before 1940, a jeep was a military vehicle, which was the first 4x4 vehicle that is currently being mass-produced. Since then, the jeep has become the number  one military vehicle for the American army. This military car later was developed further and turned into utility vehicles that are used every day. In this sense, a jeep is representative of WWII, especially on the american side.  Unlike with other military vehicles, like a battleship, a jeep is still used widely for military purposes across different countries  of the world.
